Accessibility

Frequent and convenient public transport facilities are an essential element in Science Port Holland's investment climate. Transport networks will be offered at four levels.

Road infrastructure
The Delft-Rotterdam Region is embedded in a network of infrastructure.
The Rotterdam Ring is formed by the A20 in the north, the A16 in the east, the A15 in the south and the A4 in the west.
The A13 connects with the A20 and forms a link between Rotterdam and Delft. The various motorways are within fast and easy reach from all locations. In addition, the A13 will be widened in the coming years to ease congestion.

Rail Connection
Fast and frequent rail connections to the international transport hubs (Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam Central Station) form the backbone of Science Port Holland and is a major asset for an innovation campus.

Within the Netherlands, Rotterdam Central Station is one of the Thalys destinations, providing a direct connection to Paris.

Regional Public Transport
Regional public transport facilities such as tram, bus and water taxi are essential to connect Science Port Holland with the surrounding residential and business areas.

Local Internal Connections
As for the internal connections in and between locations, the option of a Public Rapid Transit (PRT) system is being considered.
